Freight settings
Overview
You can charge freight for your B2B Online Store customers on their purchases.
You can charge your B2B customers freight depending on the zone and its tiers. Zones group your freight options into a region or theme and tiers are the different freight options. For example, you might have Sydney as a zone, with Overnight Delivery, Standard Shipping, and Signature Required as different tiers under Sydney.
Your customers can then choose their zone and the freight tier they want (Sydney -Standard Delivery).
It can take up to 10 minutes (and your customers need to log in again) before your freight settings changes appear on your B2B online store.
You may need to set up your:
Freight for your customers
When your customers purchase products from your B2B store, they can choose their freight options at the checkout. Their selected freight option price will be added to their order and invoice.
You can create four different freight options for your customers:
Flat Rate
Customers will see a fixed freight price regardless of the weight or value of the items.Order Weight
Customers will see the freight price that matches the total weight of the products in their cart. If their cart contains a product with no weight, this option will not appear.-
Order Value
Customers will see the freight price that matches the total value of their cart.
The order value:Excludes the freight price
Excludes tax for tax exclusive price tiers(e.g. wholesale prices)
Includes tax for tax inclusive price tiers(e.g. retail prices)
Includes discounts (e.g. a $100 product with a $20 discount = $80 order value)
To Be Confirmed
Customers will see TBC instead of a freight price. You can then organize the price with the customer.

Create a new tier
Tiers decide the price that customers will pay for freight. Each zone can have multiple tiers and freight types. However, we recommend using only one freight type (and To be confirmed) in a zone to minimize customer confusion.
Under a zone, select + New Tier.
Add a Tier name. For example, Standard Delivery, Overnight Delivery, or To be Confirmed.
-
Choose a Freight Type and set the Price. The price is the same for all B2B customer currencies. For example, if the price is 20, this could be $20 USD, £20, ¥20, or $20 AUD depending on your B2B online store currencies.
Flat rate: This is the same fixed price for all orders with that tier. For example, customers that choose Standard Delivery will pay the same price of $20.
To be confirmed: the cost of freight will be negotiated after the order is placed between you and the customer. TBC will display at the checkout.
-
Order value: Add a freight price for an order value range. For example, if you provide free shipping ($0) for orders over $200 in value.
The value is the same for all currencies (if the order is $200, £200, ¥200, or €200).
Click + New Condition to add more value ranges and prices. For orders beyond your max value, you can show TBC (with a blank price field), or you can add a price.
-
Order weight: Add a freight price for an order weight range. For example, if you charge $20 for orders between 5-10kg, customers would pay $20 if their order weight is 7kg.
Click + New Condition to add more weight ranges and prices. For orders beyond your max weight, you can show TBC (with a blank price field), or you can add a price.
All products must have a weight. This tier will not appear in the checkout if a customer’s cart contains a product with no weight.
The weight for your products must be the same unit across all products (e.g. only kilogram, not kilogram and grams). You can show the product weight as either lb (imperial) or kg (metric) depending on the Dimension and option weight product settings.
