Product weight
Overview
You can add weight for a product or product option (for example, weights for different sizes). Cin7 Omni uses the weight of a product to calculate freight charges for your shipping integrations, ecommerce integrations, landed costs, and Legacy B2B freight.
You will need to:
The product weight must be the same unit across all products (e.g. only kilogram, not kilogram and grams).

Select your username and then Settings.

Click on Products and then Product Settings.
Change Dimensions to Yes.
You can also change the Option Weight to Yes. This will allow you to add a weight for each product option.
Click Save.
Add weight to a product
The product weight must be the same unit across all products (e.g. only kilogram, not kilogram and grams).
From the left navigation, select
Products.
Find and open the product you want to add a weight for.

In the Dimensions section, add the weight of the product to Weight (kg).
You do not have to use the actual product weight. For example, you could add a weight of 1 for each item. This would mean the total weight in an order would be equal to the total items ordered.
Add weight for a product option
The product option weight must be the same unit across all product options (e.g. only kilogram, not kilogram and grams).
From the left navigation, select
Find and open the product you want to add a weight for.

In the Product options section, add the weight of the product option to Weight (kg).
Click Save and Continue or Save and Close.
