Legacy B2B settings
Overview
Legacy B2B uses technology that is no longer supported or compatible with the Cin7 Omni platform.
Cin7 Omni no longer provides, for Legacy B2B:
technical support
security updates
bug fixes
other forms of assistance and support for the product
We recommend migrating to the B2B online store.
Your existing Legacy B2B can be customized. The Legacy B2B settings include:
Most of these features are supported in the new B2B online store.
Emails
You can configure the emails that are sent out to your customers from your Legacy B2B store. When a customer places an order they will be emailed with a confirmation, detailing the information they have provided and the products that they have bought.
Select your username (the user menu), then select Settings.
Select Legacy B2B and then select Emails.
Select Change next to the email template you want to edit.
An editor will open where you can change the subject and body of the email. You can also select
Code View to edit the HTML.
There will be placeholder fields in the email template, for example, %%ATT:Orders_25%%. These are special fields that match Cin7 Omni fields.
Select Update to save your changes.
Freight
Set up your Legacy B2B to provide freight options (and fees) to your customers. At checkout, your customers choose a zone and then choose a freight option. You can charge different freight fees depending on the zone.
Create a freight zone
Select your username (the user menu), then select Settings.
Select Legacy B2B and then select Freight Zones.

Click Add New (or Change to edit an existing zone). You can then add details for your freight zone.
Active
Choose On to display the freight zone, and Off to hide this option from your customers.Sort
Add a number to set the display order for your freight zones. The lowest number will be the first freight zone.Zone Number
Optional reference field.Name
Add the display name for your freight zone (for example, North America).Countries
List the countries that this zone ships to. For example, the zone for North America would have the countries United States, Canada, Mexico (separated by commas). Countries will be sorted based on their freight zone Sort order and then alphabetically.
Click Updateto create the new zone.
You can edit any existing zones by selecting Change next to the zone.
Create freight options
After you create freight zones, set up your freight options and fees for the customer to choose from.
Select your username and then Settings.
Click on Legacy B2B and then Freight.
Select Add Freight to create a new freight option (or Change to edit an existing freight option).

You can then add details for your freight option.
Active
You can decide if this freight option is available for your Legacy B2B store. Choose Active to display the freight option, and Deactivated to hide this option from your customers.Sort

This is the display name for the freight option.Zone
Choose what freight zone will use this freight option. Freight zones can have many freight options.-

Add your freight fees for your freight option. You can either create:Flat fee
You can charge one fee for all items in an order. Add a zero, a comma and space, and then the dollar amount. For example, 0, $20
You must use the dollar symbol ($) even if you use a different currency.Freight fee by weight
You can charge different fees depending on the weight of the order. You will need to add product weights to use this option. Add the weight, a comma, and space, and then the dollar amount. Each different weight charge should be on a new line.
0, $20
5, $50
In this example, orders that weigh less than 5kg would be $20, and over 5 kg would be $50.
You must use the dollar symbol ($) even if you use a different currency.
Click Save. Your customers can select this freight option when they choose a freight zone.
Quote freight
You can quote freight after an order has been placed. Create a freight option with:
Location:To be confirmed (or another name you would prefer).
Array 1:0, TBC
Zone: Choose the zone for this freight option.
We recommend only quoting for freight when you are using the On Account payment method. Otherwise, your customers will pay for the order and you will have to invoice them separately for freight.
Security settings
In Legacy B2B, you can hide your wholesale prices or your products, from the general public.
Select your username (the user menu), and then select Settings.
Select Legacy B2B and then select Security Options.
Select Save after you have changed the settings.
You can change:

Product View Security -this changes what a visitor to your Legacy B2B store can see.
Public Can View Products And Pricing
All visitors can view the entire site and pricing.Public Can View Products But Login To View Pricing
All visitors can view products and categories but need to log in to view pricing.Login To View Products
All visitors can view categories but need to log in to view products and pricing.Login To View Products And Categories
All visitors can see public facing pages (Company History, Contact Us, or Terms and Conditions) but need to log in to see products, categories, and pricing.Login To Enter Entire Website
All visitors have to log in to view your Legacy B2B store.
Product Buying Security - choose if visitors have to log in to buy products.
Creating Accounts - choose if public visitors can create an account (that allows them to log in to your Legacy B2B store).

Stock Indicator Display Option - choose how stock levels show on your Legacy B2B. Products must be set to limited stock.
Stock figures shows the actual number of items available (e.g. 15).

Stock Indicators shows the amount of stock in phrases.
Out of Stock - stock is 0
1/2/3 Left in Stock - stock is 1-3
Low Stock - stock is 4-10
Available - stock is >10
Pre-order Ordering Option- select disable.
Show Products Only If Price Exists - show all products in your inventory or only products with pricing for the Legacy B2B customer. This option can also show specific products for groups of customers.
Show Stock For The Following Branches - select the branches for the Legacy B2B store stock. All orders are downloaded to the Main branch, but you can assign them to another branch manually.
Once you save the settings, make sure to update these changes to your Legacy B2B site.
Payment gateway
You will need to decide how customers will pay for their purchases. The default option is that orders created are On Account. This means that an invoice is created and the customer will pay at a later date. When the order is completed they will be sent payment details and a copy of the invoice.
Alternatively, customers can pay immediately with Paypal or Authorize.net.You will need to set up these payment gateways.
Paypal
Select your username (user menu), and then select Settings. Make sure the Credit Card PP is set up as a payment option.
Select Legacy B2B and then Payment Gateway IDs.
Select Change for the Credit Card PP payment option.
In Gateway ID/Username, add your Paypal email address.
Select Update.
Authorize.net
To set up Authorize.net, you need to find your API details:
Login to your Authorize.net account.
Select Settings, bottom left.
Under Security Settings select API Login ID and Transaction Key.
Copy the API Login ID.
Enter your secret answer and get your Transaction Key, then copy this too.
You can then add this to your Cin7 Omni account.
Select your username (user menu), and then select Settings. Make sure the Credit Card Authorize.Net is set up as a payment option.
Select Legacy B2B and then Payment Gateway IDs.
Select Change for the Authorize.Net payment option.
In Gateway ID/Username, add your API Login ID.
In the Gateway Password (or API Key), add the transaction key from Authorize.net.
Select Update.
Payment portal
Your customers can buy products with the Cin7 Omni payment portal. When your customer checks out, they can pay the total amount or a deposit with a credit or debit card. All card details are sent to your connected payment gateway. Cin7 Omni does not save any card information.
Cin7 Omni charges a transaction fee for every payment using the payment portal. You can offset those costs by adding a surcharge for your customers.
Before adding the payment portal, you will need to connect a payment gateway.
Select your username (user menu) and then Settings.
Click on Payment Portal Configuration under Setup.
Open the Legacy B2B Settings tab.
Tick the Use Payment Portal for your B2B Website Sales checkbox. You will then see all the different ways your B2B customers can pay.
Click Update.
