Custom homepage

Overview

You can create your own custom homepage to welcome customers to your B2B online store. On your homepage you can add a    banner image and featured categories for products that you are selling.

Custom homepage for your customers

You can create a homepage for your customers with a banner image (that can be hyperlinked) and featured categories. When setup, this page will open after customers login to your B2B online store.

Display your custom homepage

  1. Select Integrations in the left hand navigation and select your B2B online store.

  2. Select the cog icon to open Settings.

  3. Click the Custom Homepage tab.

  4. Click the radio button for Display Customized Homepage.

  5. Click Save Settings. You can now add a banner image and featured categories.

Add a banner image

Your banner image will display above the featured categories and can be hyperlinked to a website of your choice.

  1. Select Integrations in the left hand navigation and select your B2B online store.

  2. Select the cog icon to open Settings.

  3. Click the Custom Homepage tab.

  4. Under the Banner section, click Upload Image and then select your banner image.

  5. Your banner image will need to be:

    • JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, or GIF

    • An aspect ratio of 3:1, for example 1200 px x 400 px. Your image will need to be three times as wide as it is high to properly display on your homepage.

    • Less than 1 MB

  6. Add an Image description (alt text) for screen readers. This will also display if your image fails to load on the page.

  7. In Link to, add the URL for the image. This will send customers to that website when they click on the banner image.

  8. Click Save Settings. You will need to log out and log in to your B2B online store and enable the custom homepage to see any changes.

Select the Delete icon to remove your homepage banner image.

Add categories

You can add up to 15 categories to your custom homepage. You need to setup your product categories for your B2B online store  before they can appear on your custom homepage. If your category has no products, it will not show on your custom homepage.

  1. Select Integrations in the left hand navigation and select your B2B online store.

  2. Select the cog icon to open Settings.

  3. Click the Custom Homepage tab.

  4. Under the Categories section, add a Heading to display above your categories. By default this is Featured Categories.

  5. Click Add Category.

  6. You can add an image for your category. It will need to be:

    • JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, or GIF

    • An aspect ratio of 0.9:1, for example 340 px x 380 px. Your image will need to be 0.9 times as wide as it is high to properly display. The images you use for your categories should all have the same aspect ratio.

    • Less than 300 KB

  7. Click on Upload and then select your category image.

  8. Add an image description (alt text) for screen readers. This will also display if your image fails to load on the page.

  9. Choose your Product category.

  10. Click Add Category to add another category to your custom homepage. You can repeat steps 5-9 until you have 15 categories.

  11. You can sort your categories with drag and drop on the grey dots icon. The first category in your list will be the first category on the left in the custom homepage.

  12. Click Save Settings. You will need to log out and log in to your B2B online store and enable the custom homepage to see any changes.

 

Select Delete icon to remove a category from your custom homepage.
