Send sales emails automation
Overview
The Send Sales Emails automation bot sends emails automatically when a sales order meets certain conditions. For example, it could email customers to confirm order creation or shipping. It could also email team members when an order has been received or once it is ready to be picked and dispatched.
Setup the automation bot
Select
Admin then select Cin7 Automation Bots in the navigation.
Select Create New Automation Bot.
Under Send Sales Emails, click Select.
If you are creating multiple Send Sales Emails automation bots, add a name.
Select Create Automation. You will then see the configuration for your automation bot, including it's name and status.
If you use ecommerce (e.g. Shopify), marketplace (e.g. Amazon Seller), or EDI, you can use the Tags field to add sales channels to your channel workflow diagram.
Select the Stage which an order must reach in order to initiate the sending of the sales email.

Select the Branch to include in the automation if you only want orders from specific branches to initiate the email.

Optionally, you can Filter By Fields will run the email automation when an order matches your filters.

Select the field you are wanting to filter by, the condition and value that must be met. For example, Field: Price tier, Condition: Equals, Value: Retail USD Incl. This will run the send sales email automation when the order has a Retail USD Incl. price tier.
ETD – Specify a certain amount of days from or prior to today’s date.
Payment terms – Select a specific payment term.
Price Tier – Select a specific price tier.
Freight Description – Specify text which the freight field must either start with, end with, contain or not contain.
Delivery State – Specify text which the Delivery State field must either start with, end with, contain or not contain.
Delivery Country – Specify text which the Delivery Country field must either start with, end with, contain or not contain.

You must choose the bulk email Template you want to send. Only sales order bulk email templates will show in the drop-down list. You can optionally:
Choose the email you want to send your bulk email From.
Type the email addresses you would like to send the email To. If you have multiple email addresses, type these in separated by a comma. If you leave the field blank, it will send the email to the email address in the sales order.
You can optionally receive a Notification with asummary of automation action. Add the email address, or multiple addresses separated with a comma.
Select the automation option. Choose to run on demand (requires a user to initiate the process to start) or set a scheduled time based on how frequently the automation is to be run.
Save the settings.
The newly configured automation bot will now show under the Sales section at the top of the dashboard.
Selecting the Sales section will show the details of each Automation bot which has been configured, including when it was last run, when it is scheduled to next run, and the details of the configuration settings.
Selecting Preview will show a summary of the results of running the Automation while selecting Run will initiate the Automation Bot.
