Replenishment values
Overview
Replenishment values can help decide what stock needs to be moved between branches in Cin7 Omni to ensure that the correct branches have the correct stock available.
Safety stock is the level where replenishment is triggered and this replenishment will add stock until it meets the optimal stock level.
Allocate replenishment values to products
Products are allocated Replenishment Values using Stocktake Master. Replenishment Values are set per product, per branch.
To allocate Replenishment Values to products:
In the navigation, select Stock, then select Stocktake Master.
Under Search Products, select a Branch. You can only update products in one branch at a time.
Change the Update Mode to Replenishment Values.
Change the Type to All.
You can update the replenishment values for all products listed below. You can refine your search with Products, Bin Locations, or categories (Category Search).
Select Sync Latest Data to include the latest products (or results from your search).
Under Export Data, select the fields you would like to include in your spreadsheet.
Select Export Data and then click Select data to highlight the information.
Copy the information with your keyboard (Ctrl+C) or mouse (right-click then Copy).
Paste this information into a new spreadsheet. If you use leading zeros in your product codes, change your columns to text before you paste.
Add the safety stock and optimal stock amounts to the spreadsheet. Safety stock is the level where replenishment is triggered and this replenishment will add stock until it meets the optimal stock level.
Copy your spreadsheet information and paste it into Update Static Zones and Bins.
Select Update Replenishment.
Select Confirm.
Reporting replenishment value
Replenishment values can be used to calculate what products need to be added to a branch transfer to move stock from a warehouse to a retail branch.
You can add the Branch Replenishment From Safety Stock and Optimum Stock Quantities report (from the reports library).
The report will show the Stock on Hand in the current branch as well as the Safety Stock and Optimal stock levels. If the Stock on hand quantity is less than the Safety stock then the To Order column will show the quantity required to bring the Stock on Hand back to the Optimal level.
Once the To Order values have been adjusted where necessary, type the name of the branch to be replenished into the Branch field at the top of the screen and select Create Branch Transfer. The products and Order quantities will be added to a new Branch Transfer to be approved and completed.
Branch replenishment automation bot
The Branch Replenishment Automation Bot will run automatically and look for products in each branch that are below their safety stock level and then create a branch transfer to bring their stock on hand back to the optimal stock level.
The Automation bot can be configured to calculate replenishment quantities for multiple branches at once. It is possible to set a priority level for each branch to manage a situation where there is not sufficient stock for all replenishment.
