Disable products in Shopify
Overview
Find out how to remove deactivated Omni products from Shopify sales channels and apps.
Shopify sales channels and apps are where you sell your products.
You’ll need to stop selling a product by removing it from your sales channels and apps after deactivating it in Cin7 Omni. Otherwise you’ll make sales you can’t fulfill.
With your Shopify integration, you can remove (disable) deactivated Omni products from your Shopify sales channels and apps (except your Shopify point of sale).
Only Omni products can be deactivated (not individual options, size options, or units of measure) and only Shopify products can be disabled (not individual variants).
Configure disable products
You must enable your integration to disable Shopify products:
Log in to Cin7 Omni.
From the Integrations menu in the navigation, open your Shopify integration.
Open Settings.
Enable Products > Disable Products.
Select Save.
Disable products
Before disabling a Shopify product,
the Omni product must be mapped to a Shopify product,
on the Omni product’s page, Display must be set to Turn Off / Inactive, and
on the Omni product’s page, your Shopify integration must be selected under Classification > Channels.
Now you can disable the Shopify product:
Log in to Cin7 Omni.
From the Integrations menu in the navigation, open your Shopify integration.
Select Disable Products on the Product Status tile.
Optionally, use the search box to filter the list. Only products in the list will be removed from your Shopify sales channels and apps.
Select Disable Recently Modified Products.
