Credit notes import template
Overview
You can import credit notes into Cin7 Omni in bulk. You will need to download the credit notes import template and then add your historic or new credit notes to this spreadsheet. This spreadsheet can then be imported into Cin7 Omni.

Edit the spreadsheet
You will need to:
Delete any help or placeholder text that appears beneath the first row (the header row).
Enter the Order Ref, Payment Method, Payment Amount, and Payment Date for each credit note. These fields are required to create a credit note.
A negative Item Qtywill add that amount back into your stock.
After you enter any other information, hide all the unused rows and save the file as a .CSV
Once you have finished editing your spreadsheet, you can import your credit notes.

Order Ref |
Unique reference for the credit note. |
Company |
Add the Company Name (if First Name is not used). |
First Name |
Add the first name of the contact (if Company Name is not used). |
Last Name |
Add the last name of the contact (if using First Name). |
Item Code |
Must match a product code (SKU). |
Item Qty |
Amount of products credited. Must be a number. A negative amount will return this product into your stock. |
Item Price |
Price of the product when it was credited. Must be a negative amount. |
Sales Reference |
Reference for the sales order being credited. |
Payment Method |
The type of payment made to the customer. |
Payment Amount |
The amount paid to the customer. Must be a negative amount. |
Payment Date |
The date the payment was made to the customer. |
