ForesightAI sales forecast graph
Overview
The sales forecast graph shows ForesightAI’s demand predictions for up to the next 24 months, alongside the historical data used for forecasting.
Use the graph to verify forecast accuracy, identify demand peaks, and gain insights to refine your planning.
The graph updates daily based on ForesightAI’s latest forecasts. Admin rights required.
Open the sales forecast graph
The sales forecast graph is on your home dashboard:
Go to your Cin7 Omni home dashboard.
Open Sales Forecast.
Filters and data type
Use filters to view the forecast for specific areas of your business:
Branch
Supplier
Category
Product
Use the data type control to review the forecast in units sold or revenue:
Quantity — shows forecast and historical sales as units sold
Revenue — shows forecast and historical sales as a dollar value
The graph refreshes automatically when you change a filter or data type.
Read the graph
The graph combines four data series.
Sales history — your actual sales for each month in the last year
Sales forecast — ForesightAI's predicted monthly sales for up to the next 24 months, based on your sales history
Safety stock — the minimum stock level ForesightAI recommends maintaining for each period
Inventory forecast — the projected stock on hand for each period
Safety stock is hidden by default if displaying it would significantly extend the y-axis scale.
Sales history here can differ from Omni reports since it uses each order's invoice date, or created date if not yet invoiced, while report dates vary. Figures reflect what's accurate as of the last sync.
You can also:
Select a series in the legend to show or hide it
Hover over any data point to see the figures for that period
See the last updated date
Adjust the forecast
If you know your sales will differ from ForesightAI's prediction, you can apply a manual forecast adjustment.
Click Forecast & Settings.
The sales forecast graph will update to reflect new adjustments after the next sync. Forecasts update every 24 hours.
