Planned outage 27th July 2025

Overview

Cin7 Omni will have a planned outage on Sunday, 27th of July 2025. This outage will last for around two hours from 3:45pm NZT.
During this outage, Cin7 will complete some important maintenance work to help keep Omni running smoothly for you.

Planned outage time for different timezones:

  • New Zealand: 3:45 - 5:45pm (NZT)

  • Australia: 1:45 - 3:45pm (AEST), 1:15am - 3:15pm (ACST), 11:45am - 1:45pm (AWST)

All of Cin7 Omni will be unavailable during this time except for Cin7 POS in offline mode.

Cin7 Omni availability during the outage

During the outage (approx. two hours), all of Cin7 Omni (except POS offline) will be unavailable. This includes:

  • Sales orders

  • Purchase orders

  • Reports

  • WMS

  • B2B, Legacy B2B, and custom domain sites

  • Integrations

  • POS (offline mode will work)

  • Cin7 Omni login page

POS offline mode is the only part of Cin7 Omni that you can use during the outage. You can still access our Cin7 Help Center, Cin7.com, and create support tickets.

Sales made through integrations

Your ecommerce integrations (e.g. Shopify, Amazon, etc.) can still process sales. When Cin7 Omni is available again, your integration will download and process any sales made during the outage.

Your integrations will work automatically when the outage is over, you do not need to do anything.

Because B2B is operated by Cin7 Omni, your customers can't use your B2B online store to make purchases during this time. After the outage, they can access your B2B online store and make purchases.

Process sales with POS offline

You can use POS offline even when the rest of Cin7 is unavailable. The offline mode will let you process sales and save them locally in your browser cache. You must have POS open before the outage, otherwise you can't use offline mode.

You can't close the register when POS is in offline mode. You can either wait till Cin7 Omni is available or you can Export offline orders. If you need to close the store before Cin7 Omni is available, you can import all of your offline orders the next day. Once you have imported you orders, you can close the register, selecting the 27th of July as the date.

Cin7 Omni batches your orders by their transaction date so the delay should not cause any discrepancies.

While using offline mode, do not clear the browser cache. This will remove all of your sales.
