Reset two-factor authentication (2FA)

Overview

Resetting two-factor authentication (2FA) is a common solution for login issues.

Administrators can reset 2FA for other users. If you’re an administrator and need to reset 2FA for yourself, you must contact Cin7 Omni Support.

After your 2FA has been reset, you must set up 2FA again to log in.

Reset 2FA

To reset 2FA for another user:

  1. Log in to Cin7 Omni as an administrator.

  2. From the user menu in the navigation, open Users.

  3. Select the user.

  4. Select Reset 2FA.

  5. Click OK to confirm.

Now their 2FA has been reset, the user must:

  1. Delete their Cin7 Omni account from their authenticator.

  2. Clear their browser’s cache.

  3. Set up 2FA.
