Adding Customer Purchase Order Number to POS app

I know we aren't your typical user as a DND company.  It's critical for us to get a customer PO number when we're in a store in order to get paid, but the current POS app doesn't allow for the proper field to get filled out.  That leads to sloppy manual API integrations for us.  Is there any way to enable that field on the POS app?
