Landed Cost Allocation by sku
Cin7 doesn't currently have a way to apply tariffs by line item on the PO or Branch Transfer
It would be great to have a feature that allows landed costs to be allocated by line item.
Even in a linked transaction (freight PO) - we can only allocate to a whole PO or Transfer.
We really need to be able to apply to a specific line as the USA Tariffs are vastly different for each product.

Yes I agree with this. We have vastly different tariff rates on our imports & as it is we don't know our true landed costs per SKU
How are you handling it Pauline?
Are you running a separate sheet to keep track of tariffs?

Yes we do. It's very time consuming but it's the only way we can calculate our margins correctly per product. However because it is not correct within CIN7, we can only work with average landed cost per shipment.
CIN7 have done a lot of work on businesses understanding the impact of tariff changes, but I believe this is a level of detail that's not been mentioned.
This is a much needed feature. We have clients who have requested this capability.
