EDI orders - have custom fields populate

When we receive new EDI orders, we’d like certain custom fields on the Sales Order to automatically populate with values specific to each EDI customer.

    Hi David,

    I do know standard fields do get populated from CRM into the Sales Orders, but it has to be set up right. Do you currently have all delivery stores in the CRM, and are the Sales orders getting mapped via “Store No” to the matching CRM contacts? 

    If yes, and if the custom fields are not populating, then your Feature request is valid. 

    Alternatively, until Cin7 looks into this request, we could look into building a custom automation solution to update the orders with the relevant CRM data every hour or so.

    Cin7 support can add a standard note/text for Delivery of Warehouse Instructions to your integration to 3PL. (We got this for David Jones and The Iconic to help our 3PL channel management)

    I also got a custom field added to SO for internal management of EDI customers. It would be great to have a CRM custon field eg delivery notes always populate any new SO for this CRM customer.
