BOM - Ability to copy a BOM

I have submitted a case on this previously but was advised it's not an option 

We would like to have the feature to be able to Copy a BOM and Component Product. We needed this feature available when we started a new portal that we only wanted to give access to certain products and pricing, the ways our current BOMS where set up didn't allow that, so we had to create all new ones. 

We also would like these BOM's to have had the swappable options in a different currency. The workaround we were given was to convert the AUD cost of BOM to NZD cost every time you swap it.
