Shopify POS Channel Reporting not available in Cin7.
Currently, if you have an Online Store and Shopify POS. Cin7 groups this as one channel. They are two different channels with different locations.
I have a client who sells furniture. They have a POS in Auckland and in Mt Maunganui. Which means there are 2 POS stores. When an order is processed into Cin7, the channel is identified as “Shopify_Company_”.
This makes it difficult to report on:
To get a breakdown of POS locations and how they are performing by Sales Rep.
It also makes it difficult to report on how many sales were processed “Online” vs “POS”.
As a result of this function not being available, my client needs to source this data from various systems to be able to report on the key parameters they need information on. Including what location the sale originated from, which adds another layer of complexity to the report, as this is not easy to identify. Because Cin7 is unable to identify the location it was created in via a report.

Hi Sharol, I am experiencing the exact same issue. The Channel in Cin7 needs to clearly differentiate between POS and Online orders feeding from Shopify, so that this info can also be used to map GL codes to Xero & more. Did you have any luck finding a solution?
