  Hi Irfan,
  You can restrict POS users from amending prices in POS. 
  - Ensure they are standard POS user
  -In POS settings, there is a setting called, “Maximum percentage discount for Standard users:”. Set it is as $0

  Hi Chris,

  Thank you for your prompt response well but we have special offers for a specific bank card holder to avail discount if they purchase using specific card thats the reason we kept maximum % discount to 15% how can we manage both?

  I tried your recommendation but still the staff is able to amend the unit price of an item on the pos.

  Hi Irfan,
  You are on Cin7 Omni right?
  Can you check if your POS users are set as “Standard” under “User Permissions”?
  Then click on sync in their POS and then try again.
  
  It is a full restriction to not allow discounts to Standard Users. You can get a “Manager” user to override and provide the discounts for specific card scenarios you mentioned.

  We have the same setup for a couple of our Cin7 Omni clients, and it works fine. 
  If it is not for you, then you may have to reach out to the Cin7 Omni support team or a Cin7 partner to get your account settings reviewed.

  Hi Chris,

  Yes, i am using Cin7 Omni and i cross checked the POS user is a standard user.

  But i believe here i am trying to restrict the user to edit unit price on pos.

  Yes, if i set the discount to 0% they are unable to give any discount but still they can manually amend the unit price and sell the item.

  i hope you understand.

  Got it. I forgot about that ability. You can reach out to Cin7 support team to disable it. They are able to from the backend.
