CRM - Sub-Group List
Please make the “sub-group” feature function the same as the “Customer Group”. The request would be to make it a dropdown whereby the user can select from a list. This would be much fast and eliminate errors.
At the moment this is how the Customer Group works. But the Sub Group is a manual entry :(

2 layers of customer category is sufficient for most channel/customer reporting.
I use Special notes a bit too and set up a 3rd custom customer category, tho this isn't picked up in std reporting but can be used to manage your CRM data - ie export all deets.
Totally agree Kate. The more sub categories, the more change of errors or slight differences in how the data is entered….then the reporting becomes a mess.
A simple dropdown would make way more sense. No idea why Group and Sub Group would be set up differently. Hopefully Cin7 listen to this one.
