Keep Opportunities
When you convert an opportunity it is deleted after you convert it to a sale the problem with this is it can never be found again if a client comes in with only the opportunity number you cannot figure out which sale is related to that opportunity number.

True, there must be a link from DOP to DSO and to DINV. Currently you cannot link DOP to DSO but DSO to DINV is clearly referenced.
