WMS - Scanning function

Clients using WMS want to be able to fulfill and receive stock in. They will also be using the Racking function. 

Request to build a function combining Zone/Bin to scan and allocate. Instead of scanning Zone as 08. and Bin L.07 is there a way to make it so that Zone/Bin can be scanned as one and then be able to read and populate this to their respective Zone/Bin? 

We can display this on the label when we build the API, but the infrastructure in Cin7 does not allow this currently. Please advise if this is possible.

Secondly, can you scan the Batch Number instead of the SKU Code? Because this is Unique and will avoid the need to scroll down to search based on SKU-Batch.? the issue becomes that they have lots of variations of that SKU-Batch. Scanning based on the unique batch number will make it easier to select and avoid human error by selecting the wrong one.
