B2B Features - Cin7 B2B

Oliver Stone

Hi Guys,

We are in the process of implementing the new B2B system (from the previous Legacy B2B) and we feel like there are couple of good features that have not carried over to the new B2B;

1. The ability to have a rolling banner on the home page. As a company that has multiple product releases in a short period of time, we made use of having multiple banners on the legacy B2B to advertise these and give our customers quick links to our new products.

2. When adding categories to the home page as a ‘featured’ category you are giving a long list of all your product categories in alphabetical order. We have multiple sub-categories called accessories so I'm given accessories as an option x amount of times. Is there any way to make this selection process a tree style list, with sub-categories sitting under their parent categories?

Are these things that are on the roadmap or things that can be added to the roadmap?

    I currently have Menu Categories and Sub Categories from these Menus - most with a campaign image on the sub category, and 99% of our sub cats are the style (colours display for each style)

    Are Sub Cats not available in the new B2B? (We're about to start implementing and running in parallel to the Legacy)

    Do you assign new B2B Cats & Sub Cats the same was - Products Bulk update Categpry?

    B2B wholesale site needs better functionality, when is there going to be some development, we have been using CIN7 for a year and as far as I can see nothing has been updated/developed. This could be a great feature, but is too basic, please do some development on this.

    1. We need better category searching/filtering from within the brand B2B. At the moment filtering is only offered by brand, which is pretty useless.
    2. There needs to be a better sort function, ie sort by code, sort by date, sort by value, to make ease of finding items much easier than how it is now. Also if
    3. Items that are on “order” need to show at checkout not just when adding, so customer can see when they go to finalise their order which items will be backordered.
    4. We have 5 brands and don't want to have to pay for each brand B2B, if there was an easy way to just let certain customers onto certain brands from within the B2B site would be great.
    5. I have tried entering the B2B on a phone and I can't even work out how to find the product to order, please advise!

    I really want to use this for all our brands, but can't at the moment.
