Set up Tyro
Overview
Tyro offers EFTPOS & Banking for Australian Businesses. Cin7 Omni's integration with Tyro allows you to use Tyro EFTPOS machines with Cin7 Omni's POS but does require some setup.

Click on your username, top right, then click Settings.

Click on POS Payments Setup.

Change the Tyro dropdown to Yes
There are a couple of options that you can toggle on and off in this section.
Click Save to save all changes.
Link to the card payment option
You need to link your Tyro setup to a payment method.
Click on your username, then click Settings.
Click on POS Payments Setup.

Click Edit next to the Card payment option.

From the PIN pad dropdown, select Tyro.
Click Update to save the change and then select Save at the bottom of the page to save these settings.
Pair your machine
Once the initial setup has been completed, you will need to pair your Tyro machine with your Cin7 Omni POS. First, find the Terminal ID (TID) and the Merchant ID (MID):
On your Tyro PIN pad, press Menu.
Press Configuration, then enter your password.
Press Integrated Mode > Integrated > Integrated EFTPOS > Pair with POS > TID and MID > Start
Next, pair your POS with your PIN pad:
Make sure to sync your settings in the POS, then log in.
Click on the Pair Tyro button, top right.
Enter the TID and MID
Click on Pair and enter Start on the PIN pad.
Once Pairing has been completed successfully, return to the home screen of the PIN pad.
Use the Tyro PIN pad
Make a Sale or Return as you usually would.
When you press the associated button in your POS interface, Cin7 Omni will automatically pass the amount to your Tyro machine.
A receipt will be printed from Cin7 Omni's POS (depending on your receipt setup).

Can I use Afterpay with this integration?
We are working with Tyro to bring this new solution to you in the near future.
Can I use multiple currencies with Tyro?
Yes, you can take foreign card payments with POS and Tyro.
How are Surcharges handled by Cin7 Omni?
If you want to use surcharges, you need to create a "Non-stock" product in Cin7 Omni with the product code of 'POS-Surcharge'. When Tyro tells our PoS that a surcharge is required, this non-stock product will be added automatically.
