Historic Stock Valuations report
Overview
Find historical stock levels and valuations with the Historic Stock Valuations report.
The Historic Stock Valuations report shows the stock on hand, the carrying value, and the inventory value of each product in your inventory at any point in time.
A product’s stock on hand (SOH) is the number of available units. Its carrying value is what you paid for those units (that is, the sum of their landed costs). Its inventory value is what you could sell those units for (that is, the product’s retail price multiplied by its SOH).

FAQs
Why doesn’t Historic Stock Valuations match Stock on Hand Reconciliation?
Don’t expect the values in the Historic Stock Valuations report and the Stock on Hand Reconciliation report to match.
These reports serve different purposes (historical valuations versus monthly reconciliation), gather transactions with different criteria (date that stock moves versus date of invoice), and display different data (line items versus transactions).
