Sync POS settings

Overview

The POS automatically syncs with Cin7 Omni two times a day. New sales and customers are synchronized in real-time. However, there may be occasions where the POS is not in sync with Cin7 Omni. This might be due to product changes in Cin7 Omni or because the POS has been offline for some time.

If you make changes to your settings or products, you will need to sync your POS before they update. For example, you will need to sync before inactive products disappear, or a special price updates for a product.

Sync POS settings

You can sync your POS settings in two places.

On the POS's Login screen, select the sync button.

After logging in to the POS, select the Sync button.

After manually syncing, the information between the POS and Cin7 Omni should be up to date. Once manually synced, information between the POS and Cin7 Omni should be back to current.
