Scanners
Overview
You can use barcode scanners to quickly enter barcoded products into the POS and Warehouse Management (WMS).
Scanners act as a keyboard, typing in a number and pressing enter. Scanning an item will search for an item, and then enter it into a your POS or WMS fields.
Cin7 Omni recommends Zebra CS60 Series Companion which we have tested with both POS and WMS. Other scanners may work with Cin7 Omni, but should be tested before purchasing.
Zebra CS60 Series Companion scanner
The Zebra CS60 works wirelessly via Bluetooth and can be used with a tablet or mobile device.
You will need to scan the HID Bluetooth classic barcode and then you can connect to the scanner from your device. The scanner will need to be set up to use carriage returns.

Zebra Symbol LS2208 USB
This scanner is ideal for fixed locations, such as a PC or laptop running the POS. It connects via USB. For details, see the instructions.

Set up your barcode scanner
