Install WooCommerce

  1. Log in to Cin7 Omni as an administrator.

  2. From the navigation, open the App Store.

  3. Open the Ecommerce tab.

  4. Select WooCommerce.

  5. Select Request App Installation.

  6. Give your integration a short, descriptive name.

  7. Select Install.

Once your request has been approved, you’ll find your WooCommerce integration in the Integrations menu in the navigation.

Connect WooCommerce

Before connecting your WooCommerce integration:

  1. Get a valid SSL certificate  for your WooCommerce site.

  2. Choose a valid structure for permalinks  in WooCommerce (see section Requirements).

  3. Enable the legacy REST API  in WooCommerce (see section Enable Legacy REST API).

  4. Generate API keys  in WooCommerce (see section Generate API Keys).

    • In the Description of your keys, include "Cin7 Omni".

    • Set the Permissions or your keys to Read/Write.

    • Once you’ve generated your keys, note the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret – if you forget your key and secret before connecting your WooCommerce integration, you must revoke the keys and generate new ones.

  5. Note the public address of your WooCommerce site – that is, the public URL of your store (that is, where customers go to shop, like https://my-woocommerce-store.com).

Now connect your WooCommerce integration:

  1. Log in to Cin7 Omni.

  2. From the Integrations menu in the navigation, open your WooCommerce integration.

  3. Open Settings.

  4. Open the Connect tab.

  5. Enter your WooCommerce public address into Shop Host Name – when you enter the address, don’t include http:// or https://.

  6. Enter your Consumer Key into Consumer Key.

  7. Enter your Consumer Secret into Consumer Secret.

  8. Leave Auth Type as is.

  9. Select Save Connection Settings.

To confirm you’ve connected your integration, select Back to Dashboard and then Test Connection.

If you see a green banner, you’ve successfully connected. If the green banner says Legacy (version 3) API, create a case with support to have your connection upgraded.

If you see a red banner, you’ve failed to connect. Go to Settings > Connect, change your Auth Type, and save your changes. Then go Back to Dashboard and Test Connection. If you still see a red banner, review Shop Host Name, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret.

If you can’t connect, contact support.
