Mailchimp unsubscribes
Overview
Contacts can unsubscribe from Mailchimp marketing emails at any time. You can manage your unsubscribes in Cin7 Omni or Mailchimp.
Unsubscribe someone in Cin7 Omni
If someone asks to be unsubscribed from your marketing emails, you can remove them in Cin7 Omni.
In the left navigation, select Integrations and then Mailchimp.
Select List.
Search for the contact using the keyword search field.
Unselect the contact. Changes will be synced to Mailchimp.
Unsubscribes in Mailchimp
By selecting the Sync button in the Mailchimp module, contacts that have unsubscribed in Mailchimp will become unselected in the Cin7 Omni Mailchimp integration List page.
If you integrate with both Mailchimp and Shopify, contacts subscription status and details will be updated if they are changed in either Cin7 Omni, Shopify (when orders are downloaded), or Mailchimp.
FAQs
Can the webhook be used for automatic Unsubscribe syncing?
No, webhooks are no longer pulled into Cin7 Omni. You must select the Sync button as described above in order to sync Unsubscribes between Mailchimp and Cin7 Omni.
