Budgets

Overview

Budgets are financial targets for your team members, branches or company. Cin7 Omni's budgets feature allows you to set a budget for a day, week or month. Dashboards can then display your performance against these defined budgets.

Upload a budget

If you've used Stocktake Master, the process of uploading budgets in Cin7 Omni is very similar.

  1. While logged in as an Administrator or a user with Manager permissions to the homepage dashboard, in the homepage dashboard, click on the dollar icon top right.

  2. Configure the budget parameters by choosing a "type" (total sales, branch or user), and defining the timeframe (daily, weekly, monthly). You will see below a grid with the budgets that have already been defined.

  3. In the export data box, select Export Data.

  4. Choose Select Data then copy and paste this data into a spreadsheet.

  5. Modify the budgets in the spreadsheet.

  6. Paste the modified data into the Update Budgets field.

  7. Select Update Data. Your budgets will now be uploaded into the system.

View performance vs budgets

Budgets can be viewed and compared with current sales data using the Budget Gauge charts on the homepage dashboard.

Currently Budgets are limited to the homepage dashboard.
