Check sales orders

Overview

You can review your Sales orders for items that do not have an Invoice Date and/or Cin7 Dispatch Date.

Review your sales orders

If a Sales Order does not have an Invoice Date it will not be available on your Cin7 Omni Accounting dashboard to be synced to your Accounting application.

  1. From the left navigation panel in Cin7 Omni, select Sales, then Sales Orders.

  2. In the Sales Order Status dropdown, select “Dispatched But Not Invoiced”.

  3. All the rows returned are missing the Invoice Date.

  • We recommend you do not filter by selecting dates - this is so you can check all Sales Orders in the system.

If a Sales Order does not have a Dispatch Date it will not have COGS included in the COGS journal synced to your Accounting application.

  1. From the left navigation panel in Cin7 Omni, select Sales, then Sales Orders.

  2. In the Sales Order Status dropdown, select “Invoiced But Not Dispatched”.

  3. All the rows returned are missing the Dispatch Date.

  • We recommend that you do not filter by selecting dates so that you can check all Sales Orders in the system.

Update the missing date(s)

Update Individually

Dispatch Dates must be updated individually, however, you can update Invoice Dates in bulk (see below).

  1. Click into each order individually to update the Invoice Date and/or the Dispatch Date.

Bulk Update

To update multiple Invoice Dates at once:

  1. Select multiple invoices using the checkbox on the left of each row.

  2. Open the Actions drop down menu.

  3. Select Bulk Update.

  4. In the next screen, add the required Invoice Date for each row.

  5. Click Save when you are ready.

Sync Transactions

Now that you have updated your Sales Orders, remember to sync the updated transactions to your Accounting application.
You can do this from your Cin7 Omni Accounting dashboard.
Remember to sync the resulting customers first, and then Sales Invoices.
