Overview

You can add a discount for a product or for an entire sale in POS. The discount can be either percentage or by a set amount.

Add a discount in POS

You may input or change the percentage amount for a single product as well as for a sale that includes several products.

  1. Scan or search for a product.

  2. In the product grid, select the cell under the Total Discount column.

  3. Enter a value.

  4. You will see an option to either:
    Select % if you want the value to be a discount in percentage
    -or-
    Select $ if you want the value to be a discount in dollars.

The dollar discount will be visible in the total discount column.
