Use quote status

Use quote status

Overview

Each Quote has a Status field, which can be used to track where the Quote is within the sales process. Each quote will have one of the following statuses:

Draft : The quote has not yet been approved, and has been saved as a draft

Open: The quote has been approved and is awaiting acceptance

Accepted: The customer has accepted the quote

Expired: The quote has passed the Expected Order Date

Find expired quotes

The status of orders that have passed their Expected Order Date automatically changes to "Expired". To filter expired orders:

  1. From the left navigation, click Sales and then Quotes.

  1. In the Quote list page, change the Quote Status field to Expired.
The list below will be filtered to only show expired quotes.

To change the status back to open, simply change the Expected Order Date to a future date.

Find quotes that are due to expire

You may wish to follow up on quotes before they expire. You can easily filter the quote list based on the date.

  1. From the left navigation, click Sales and then Quotes.

  1. From the Date dropdown, select Expected Order Date.

  2. Select the Start Date and End Date for a period of time (e.g., for quotes due to expire, choose from today's date until the same time next month).

  1. Select Search to see the results.
